Kicked off the New Year and the 6-Pack Challenge in Julian. Instead of starting at the trailhead, we parked in front of the Julian Beer Co. and walked along the road to the trailhead. The hike was not difficult but the winds at the summit were gusty. The reward of the day was enjoying good food and good beer back in Julian.
