It was a great day to go hiking around the Frazier Park area.  It was a sunny, clear day and the weather was a little chilly but not too bad for hiking in the mountains; it was great weather.  I got turned around a couple of times as some of the trails off the main trail were hard to find; but I got to the end points nonetheless.  Other than some of the smaller trails being hard to find all trails were well maintained and hiking conditions were great.  Bugs weren't a problem and there were even some wildflowers here and there.  With hiking to Sawmill Mountain I went ahead and also completed the 321 Challenge by stopping off at Mount Pinos, as well as going on to Grouse Mountain after summiting Sawmill Mountain.  So it was a good day completing 2 challenges as well as just being able to get into the wood and escape for a little bit.  I completed this hike alone and my phone died on my on the way to Sawmill Mountain, so some friendly fellow hikers took my picture at Sawmill Mountain and Grouse Mountain to show my proof of completing the challenges (that is why the pictures look different from the self taken picture at Mount Pinos); a big thank you to them.  The landscape with this hike was beautiful with some pretty views; the drive I thought was also great providing some wonderful scenery.
