Fourth time this year. First time up Devil's Backbone in a while. I hate Devil's Backbone.
Went with a great group of strong women who let me tag along out of pity.
Some of them came to the aid of a distressed hiker and we hung around for hours waiting for the helicopter.
As went up in January via Ski Hut, February via Register Ridge (not much snow), and Bear Canyon ( the best route) in May.
