Starting early allowed us to get most of the hike done in a cooler temps. After Kelly Camp there is not much shade. Love the fact this peak is not as popular as Cucamonga. The time on the summit enjoying the sweeping views of the nearby mountains was priceless. On the way back saw just few groups going up.
