I have actually hiked this 3 times this year. I love this trail. This first trip was the most snow I’ve hiked it in, lots of ice on the way up so the steeper parts were a challenge for sure. Could have actually used some crampons just for a few parts. But we survived of course. Otherwise, this is a nice trail with 2 options open vs more wooded. The views at the top are gorgeous! Fortunately I live about an hour away so I can go back frequently!
