Did the 12 mile option from the Maiden Peak trailhead off Gold Lake Rd. as an overnight backpack. Trail was well maintained with no blowdown blocking the trail. Trail was marked with blue diamonds as a winter ski route which was easy to follow. There was a great little clearing with a camp site and fire ring just below the summit however it was too windy to set up camp there so I descended a bit further to another camp site.
