One of my favorite hikes of the original 6-pack: the variations between the oaks at the lower switchbacks, the open landscape of the manzanita flats and then the conifers and scraggly trees around the tree line. I stayed at LimberPine Bench for the night, as I am preparing for a backpack adventure. A gorgeous campsite with spacious sites and lots of room, about 15 min from a stream.
