This was my second time doing the hike – the conditions were great, there were a ton of flowers and a lot more green compared to last year. There were a lot of people doing the hike, it was my first time seeing the parking lot at the trailhead almost full – barely found a spot. The only problem was maybe the weather – when I got there my car was showing 87 degrees. At least we got some nice breeze on the hike, made it more bearable.

The hike is about 3.6 miles one way. The first 2.4 miles are chill, it's like a nice walk around a couple of hills. Then you start gaining a lot of elevation in the remaining 1.2 miles – and there are about 8 fake peaks until you reach the top! It took me around 1 hour 40 mins to go up and 1:20 to come back down. Great views, you could see Baldy in the distance covered by snow. Still no strawberries at the top..
