The hike itself was quite a workout since we kept a steady pace close to 3mph the entire way up. Despite it having rained just a few hours before our ascent, the trail was in good condition pretty much the whole way up. There were lots of people up a the top taking pictures at Potato chip rock and it was a bit annoying since a majority of the people came up the mountain the easy way and were not drenched in sweat being whipped by cool wind waiting around for a photo op. LOL. Other than that it was a good experience.
