Trail Conditions:

Trail in good condition

ROAD:

Road rough but passable

Bugs:

Bugs were not too bad

Snow:

Snow free

Began at 10 15 No one on trail. Temps in low 60’s with a nice breeze at the top. Lots of bug noise but didn’t bother me. Took 5 oaks trail on return equally as nice as the ascent. 70 minutes to peak from parking area. Might consider poles if you do 5 oaks. Much narrower and steeper on descent
