#sundayfunday with @hikebeyondthehills crew. Mount Baden-Powell (9,406’) hike is a good quick jaunt on a Sunday and still have plenty of time to get things done right after to get ready for the week. Gorgeous weather-not too hot at all, plenty of parking, not many people on the trail. What a great day!
Total 8.30 miles with 2,740’ total elevation gained, burned 1,300 kcal. Started at 7am, done by 12noon!
🌳Wally Waldron tree is along the trail, and it is one of the oldest trees in San Gabriel Mountains at 1500 years old!
