Second time up and I FINALLY got to summit!
Weather was amazing! Cool morning and it never got too hot. There was a nice breeze with some wind at the summit, which really picked up as we were hiking down.
Being a Friday, there wasn't too many people, which was perfect. I did get to meet some amazing people though!
I used All Trails to ensure I stayed on the trail, and needless to say it was longer than what they described. Despite the miles, my pup did very well and really loved the hike and the wildlife.
Highlight of the day, aside from summiting, was the chipmunk who played peekaboo with us.
