It was a Sunny day, we started from home preparing the equipment (Hydratation, food, hiking poles, sunscreen etc.) to be ready for a long journey.
My wife and I, started to follow the route that he had upload to the GPS to avoid losing time on the route, the landscapes along the way were more beautiful every time we went mile by mile along the trail, many flowers and several types of birds could be seen on the road. We set out to make stops every 2.5 miles to drink and eat something, we could not neglect that! Following the trail in the middle of the road we found ourselves face to face with a rattle snake! we were careful not to get too close … then we followed the trail to the summit, it was the hard part, we thought … we arrived at the summit , we ate some delicious ice creams and continued with the descent, which was not always down as we thought, we climbed a pair of hills Eagle Peak and I do not remember the other but it was hard.
It was an unforgettable experience and happy to have met the first challenge of six !! Now we have to plan the next challenge!
