I hiked this with two other women – we started around 7:30am, weather was nice and cool at the start. It never got too hot throughout the day and we enjoyed nice weather the entire hike. After we finished, about an hour later a thunderstorm rolled in, but that's to be expected for afternoon in Flagstaff during the monsoon season. I thought the trail was in very good condition and it would be hard to go off trail – as the trails are well marked. A few sections were pretty rocky but nothing technical. Overall a really great hike and you get views of Humphrey's at the top.
