from the lower trailhead it was 8.2 miles List 3504 feet of elevation gain. It was a little bit overcast and smoky but we were able to see Mount Olympus and Mount Washington along with several other peaks. Make sure you bring plenty of water, one of our group members gave a family a bottle of water because they underestimated the sun exposure and heat
