Nebo – maybe it was the 90+ degree heat, maybe it was the 12k elevation, maybe it was the final 1 mile of intense elevation, but Nebo was indeed a challenge. Sense of accomplishment 10/10 and this is the first hike where the summit and parking lot were equally satisfying. The final stretch (1 mile or so) there are two false peaks so keep going 🙂

Do your best to stick to the trail because without the little green path you’ll find yourself scrambling and slippery rock or scaling up an over the higher ridges to find the route again.

Bugs were pretty constant on the trail and a bit swarmy at the summit. Don’t let anything stop you from finishing this hike. It’s worth it.
