  1. We camp at Campo Alto Campground Friday Night. The weather at night was cold and windy. Good thing we came prepared.
  2. We started the hike a bit late (8:30 AM). The sun was up. The great thing about the trail is it's shaded by pines. So, it's cooler.
  3. The trail started going downhill. Hence, coming back to the end was uphill. There was multiple up and down terrain, which made the trail more challenging.
  4. The switch back to the top of Mount Pinos was not too bad. It is not steep at all. There is service at the top. Thanks to the tower.
  5. The sign by the geological marker needs a replacement.
  6. Overall, it was a great experience.
