We started at 6:45 hike from Monument Trailhead, and finished just short of 7 hours. We did an out & back trip from Visitor Center.

Trip included major break at River/Creek at the Valley Floor which was flowing high with recent rain. Took us 15-20 mins to find a way that makes at less wet, however while coming back, we all soaked our feet’s in the water to recharge & recover from the never ending downhill.

If I were to do this again, I will most probably do the Loop rather than out & back. Perfect weather conditions, except I hurt my Toe while coming downhill, so that added additional time in slowing down on few extensive patches.
