We got out early Saturday morning to beat the heat and started our accent at 6:45 am.  A handful of folks were doing the same.  The trail was in decent shape.  The first few miles were burned out and there were a number of logs to either step over or side track.  We were pleasantly surprised to see a Cascade Fox about 3/4 of the way up.  We just stood and stared at each other for a brief moment before it took off.  Wish I had my camera ready.  The skies were clear at the top and the views were majestic.
