I made very mistake possible on this hike (could not find trail, hiked up/down off trail in scree/rocks). Patience is a virtue and needed to have more. Happy to come out unscathed.
Now for the good stuff. Hiked with Meagan, a very nice women I met in the parking lot. She lives off grid with a small group of people. Living simply and happily. I hope to have found some of that during the Central Oregon challenge. She actually found the trail on the way down. Thank you Meagan!!!
