Awesome hike. No joke, the switchbacks start immediately! Not to intense of a hike, and very rewarding. It’s great that we did this hike right before the heat wave hit. It was a easy 80 degrees with a breeze, so it felt great. The tree cover at the beginning is much appeciated. There’s an old tattered flag with a breath taking view at the top. A perfect picture for our Independence Day hike!
