This is on the top of my go-to trails! Delivered one of my signs to all 3 Peaks. Happy Trail hunting for my signs. They really do complete the journey. We started at 5am & finished at 2:30pm. We rested about 20 minutes at each peak. We hit up Throop Peak, next mount Burnham, then lastly Mt. Baden-Powell. The views, the crisp silence, the solitude, it was all perfect. Our flag flying at the peak ice icing on the cake. Thank you to my fellow hikers for replacing our Old Glory when it gets removed. The flag was missing the Saturday I hiked, Sunday my friends installed a flag i gave them that belonged to my then USMC Recruit son, then days later it was removed again but again replaced. If anyone knows why our flag is removed so often from peaks please share. It’s a proud symbolic beacon that gives off hope, faith, loyalty. I now know to proudly carry a flag just in case it needs to be left to replace a removed one. Just like the signs I make. It’s to encourage others to make the climb. To keep our internal organs strong. We all live and care for our beautiful land we travel just the same.
