Less than a mile in the trail is completely obsucured with snow and ice. With proper equipment (ice axe, crampons, helmet and gaiters) it is doable. Without proper equipment it wouldn’t be safe at all. Great hike/climb, the monument at the top was just peeking out from under the snow.
