Another beautiful day for a hike, the cicadas (or some sort of buzzing bug) were a lively bunch! The trees provided some nice coverage for a portion of the hike, and made it feel like hiking in the Sierras more than Southern California. Lots of people on this trail, but not so many to make you think it's going to be an easy one. This surely tested our mental stamina, switchback after switchback all the way up.
