I didn’t have high hopes for this hike from all the pictures I’ve seen, but man they didn’t do it justice. This was gorgeous. I even brought my dog because it was her 6th birthday and she rocked it! The weather was cool and windy, perfect for hiking. We went up via devils backbone and down baldybowl and I will be doing it the opposite should I do this one again, down was a killer on the knees. Started at 530am and in the car to go home at 130pm – we weren’t in any rush and it was a perfect day.
