MT. Diablo

Was a perfect day to hike!  Lots of flowers throughout the hike.  We even saw critters but they were in the parking lot, turkey's strutting their stuff in the morning then a young bobcat right near the parking lot and a coyote was in the parking lot in the afternoon.  It's a great hike but I wouldn't want to do it in hot weather.  Going during the week makes the trail seem like it's mostly to yourself, more people and bikes at the top and they were fun to chat with while eating lunch.  If you get a chance HIKE it!
