Starting from the trailhead, the path was slick with mud and wet leaves, demanding careful steps. The dense forest seemed to come alive in the rain, with the vibrant greens of the moss and ferns intensified. The sound of raindrops on leaves was accompanied by the distant rumble of thunder, adding to the trail's ambiance.

The ascent to Mt. Eddy's summit was the most challenging part. The rain made the rocky path slippery, and the reduced visibility due to fog required extra caution. However, the misty views of the valleys below and the sensation of walking through clouds were unparalleled.

Surface: Wet and muddy with slippery sections.

Obstacles: Puddles and some minor flooding.
