Explored Mt. Pinos with kitty on 8/3/18 before we tackle Mt. Langley. Mt. Pinos is pronounced Mt. PYE-nose, not Mt. PIN-yos and certainly not Mt. PE-nus. Just an FYI, lol. #hike38of52 #52HikeChallenge2018 #MtPinos #SixPackofPeaks

Elevation gain: 800 ft
Distance: 4 miles
Time: 1 hour 45 minutes

Oh, and last note. depending on where you start the trail, you can make it very easy or very hard on yourself. We started pretty late in the day around 4pm so we chose the easiest route of only 4 miles but you can certainly start at the very bottom of the road which will add additional 4-5 miles (with additional elevation gain) if you want. It's all about how much you want to challenge yourself and how much daylight you have in your hike. Don't start at 4pm like we did, lol.
