Took the Vivian roundtrip route, leaving at 5am one day after dawn.
The terrain is interesting and varied, with a gravel road and a jungle weave up the mountain.
Ridge
The views from the top are very mediocre, and the views are very wide.
The descent was a bit of a pain, we did 31km up and down, almost as much as Whitney.
Whitney.
this mountain needs permit apply online by yourself is very simple and free of charge we encountered agent on the way up the mountain came to ask us for a parking free of charge the parking space is next to the hiking exit
Overall the feeling is very average because I like to challenge the highest peaks, so I went to climb it because it's the highest peak, not as nice as San Jacinto.
There are a lot of water sources on the road, so don't worry about the lack of water. Remember to bring a filter.
