So excited to hike our first 14er! We started our hike about 5:30am and had plenty of parking but it was starting to fill up. I would definitely recommend a high clearance vehicle to get to the trailhead. We did see some lower clearance vehicles make it through but it looked like their bumpers didn't quite make it all in one piece. I could definitely feel the higher altitude make a difference but overall this was the easiest hike so far with this challenge. As we went up the switchbacks, there were some awesome surprise views every once and awhile. Totally made it worth it. Lots of loose rock! The views from the summit were amazing. There was some snow on the mountain but none on the trail. We spent a good amount of time enjoying the summit and we were down well ahead of noon. Great hike!
