Intermittent snow – not hard to cross

Great day for a hike! Some cloud cover at the top and Mt. Rainier was obscured, but still very scenic! Started seeing snow about halfway up and eventually put spikes on. They were helpful, especially going down, but I saw many without any traction. A few areas of mud on the trail but not hard to navigate around it. This is a good hike to start this year’s challenge!
