I first moved to Seattle, Mount Si was the only hike I knew. So I would do it over and over again. So much so that I got burnt out from it 😂
I took a break and then revisited when I wasn’t hiking too much. It was extremely hard for an out of shape hiker that was me a few years back.
I decided to give it another stab last month and it was great. I remembered it being a lot harder but when I actually did it, it really wasn’t that bad. The last mile got me huffing and puffing but definitely do-able.
So do-able that next Friday 8/19 a few friends and I will be hiking it and surprising people at the top with FREE ICE CREAM. So if this one’s still on your list for the summer and you want a CHOCO TACO! come hike next Friday! 🍫 🌮
