Almost forgot to log this one. Hiked with Christine just before the shelter in place order took effect. We spent the night night before our hike at the campground so that we could get an early start. I highly recommend this strategy. The campground was quiet and almost empty, the sunset was gorgeous, and we got a nice early start to our hike. We did the loop counterclockwise, which was mostly good, though a little warm towards the end on the long climbs going out. Beautiful views and lovely wildflowers. We finished tired, but satisfied.
