From the trail head you venture through a wooded forest and around a bunch of switchbacks that lead you to the Mt St Helena Trail. From there venture left up the mountain. As you venture up you will go through last falls Tubbs Fire and a burn area. After nice slow climb you reach the last leg and its all uphill the last 1 1/2 miles. The summit sprouts beautiful views of Lake County. Good part is all downhill on way down,
