First five miles were pretty much what I expected but the last two… whew! Switchbacks had me breaking a sweat.
As we finally got to Cosmic Cafe there was a man there eating lunch who offered us, and all the other hikers, a cup of hot coffee. Extremely generous. Apparently he brought his own coffee maker since the cafe is closed this time of year. I didn't catch his name but it was his 250th (or so) hike up Mt. Wilson. Someone give that man a 6 pack of peaks medal!
