We arrived early (6:30 am) and hit the trailhead. Great weather conditions in the morning, but it did get a little warm in the afternoon during our return (it was about 90 degrees in the early afternoon). There was great water flow in the creek and the trails were pretty empty; however, the parking was completely full when we returned around 1:30. Great hike with beautiful views of Pasadena and Los Angeles from the summit.
