Steep climb for 7.5 miles without breaks. We left the trail head at 530am with our headlamps and sumitted at 9am. The downhill return was hot and exposed. We saw 1 rattler and 1 garder snake. Lots of annoying nats, Beas, and other flying bugs. Trail was in good condition. I drank 4.5 litters of water with electrolytes but still ended up with heat exhaustion from the 90 degree heat. We completed this hike/trail run in 6.5 hours with a 1 hour break at the summit (5.5 hrs moving time).
