It was an absolutely beautiful morning up to Mount Wilson. The creeks were rushing and there was significant snow. Micro-spikes and trekking poles were super helpful, especially on the ascent switchbacks. The views were spectacular.

So was the gate open to Chantry or did you hike the 3 miles up to the trailhead?
The road is completely open.
