Due to the fires and plantar fasciitis putting the kabosh on my hiking, I had to shove Mt. Wilson in as an alternate for Peak #5. I absolutely loved the Chantry Flats portion…so green and cool. The last mile of switchbacks to the top are no joke, especially on a hot day as it was today. Was stoked to make the top and spent a few minutes checking out the telescopes before heading back down.
