Started at 0620am. The morning was cool and clear. I started out at a good steady pace to get warmed up. I came across a group of young ladies and gents that were out on their first hike of the their first Six Pack, some of them this was their first hike ever. I really enjoyed chatting with them. We got to trail head to view the water fall from the top which was very nice. As we got past the water fall an number of groups passed us and at that time I said good bye to my new trails friends and proceeded to begin chasing down anyone that was in front of me. I met a number of great groups of folks on the way up the trail who I hiked with and then pushed on from through out the day. The last guy I met was a runner who got lost and missed his turn off at the park bench on the way down where he should have went to the right back to Lizzie's Trail, but he went left to Chantry flats and I met up with him with about 3 miles left before getting to the parking lot. We got to the parking lot at Chantry where I was parked. I drove him down to old town Arcadia we found his car on the other side of the mountain.
