Hiked the loop, took the long way back in order to drop down on Chantry Flats rather then hike that hill at the beginning. Plus, we didn’t hike the same ground twice. Started out great, nice and cool, then the sun broke through as we started ascending up to the observatory. That’s when the skitters started in. Bug spray saved the day, nice meal at the Cosmic Cafe, and us three little piggy’s went our way home. First peak for the Six Pack of Peaks Challenge completed.
