My last and the hardest hike I did. I started 430am. The weather is nice. It was long and hard getting to the Peak. I arrived around 1230pm and stayed for an hour before I decided to get down. While I was going down, I got distracted by the helicopter hovering a mountain and I missed my turn to the trail. So I went straight ahead and missed a 2 mile hike. Tired of going back, I tried to do the loop instead, hoping I could make it earlier.  That's when my decision then into a disaster get me more deeper in the forest. I lost light and navigating myself on a pitch dark trail with my head lamp is the only source of light. I almost fell into a ravine. But God is my savior and I managed to get back to the parking lot  and get to my car.
