We started about 6am and I was a little nervous because it was my first 14er.  We started uphill and all was good until we hit a large patch of snow on the trail so we had to take a detour. We followed a couple hikers around the huge patch of snow. We went up quite the rocky scree field. I did not like that. Once we got past that, we made our way up.  We got to the Ridge and it was quite windy, but we finally made it to the top!  It was awesome!  On the way down I opted for the glissade down. Too tired to argue with myself. 😂  Overall, it was a great hike! I also learned about the Relive app from a girl in Fairplay who did the hike the day before. Love it!
