Great start to the Six-Pack Challenge! Warm day with a cool breeze. Mostly clear skies with decent views of LA and beyond. The first 2.75 miles are an absolute stroll, but the last 1.5 miles are kick in the face scramble! Ashamed to be so out of breath. Came across scores of lizards, a few squirrels and a chill snake. I completed the hike in under 4 hours with multiple pauses and a 20 minute break at the summit. This was my first hike in this mountain range and I will definitely be back.
