I arrived at the parking lot 7Am and secured a day pass from the information center. There were campers around the camp ground who have mostly stayed overnight. The bugs was an issue to me because they do not leave my face at all al though I have used a bug spray all over me. Hiking on the cold side of the mountain with out getting hit the the sun was  a total bonus with my hike. There weren't much of hikers I encountered through out climbing up. I passed through these beautiful camping grounds and was able to appreciate the flowers growing around the area as well. This was my longest hike so far. I reached the peak after 7 hours and it was absolutely worth it! It gave me a full round view! Although they stole the wood sign at the peak which I was a little disappointed, it gave a great view and an experience. Not a lot hiked that day all though the weather had been really hot.
