GET THERE EARLY!!  They warn about parking being limited one weekends in the Trailhead parking.  We thought 8 am was early enough …. NOT!  Overflow parking was a mile or so down the road.  There are some alternative trails to hook back up with Bridle, but we ended up hitching a ride to the main trailhead to start our journey.  GOOD START!

Beautiful weather, beautiful day for a hike.  Slippery at parts going thru the falls section, but worth the views headed up that way.

Never been on this hike before and this ended up being one of my favs.  The views when reach Little Haystack is outstanding.  The views overlooking Lincoln, and Lafayette Mountains is stunning.  Never been on a ridge trail traversing across 3 peaks.  Felt like I was in a LOTR movie.  🙂  It was awesome watching the clouds go thru our bodies.  A bit cool up top, even on a semi-hot August day.  Hoodies and a quick stop behind some boulders for some snacks was a good rest point up top.  The Hut is so cool to see and their baked goods are so worthy to support and chomp on.  I don't mind the cardio going up peaks, but the joints hate me on the way down for days.  Getting older $ux!

Hit this one when you can … STELLAR!!
