The trail was beautiful and a great first peak for this challenge. There was natural shade for the first 2 miles, and the area was very green, rugged, and scenic. It was hard to believe that we were so close to the Orange County and Inland Empire sprawls. There were some wildflowers but not a ton of them. Overall I would highly recommend this hike.
