Spikes are a must along with poles.
With a storm approaching figured this was my last chance to nail number 6. Never hiked in snow before but it was really cool!
The second half of the climb was in snow and ice. Incredible views with the incoming clouds. It was a tough hike and cold and windy at the top

Also don't do a hike like this by yourself. Bring a partner in case you get into trouble
