By far the best view of Sedona (from the Sedona overlook). The most challenging part of the hike is the small switchback section – be mindful of your footing here on the way down as it’s covered in loose rock. A decent portion of the hike is flat. The canyon overlook is around 1.5 miles (3 round trip) on flat elevation from the overlook sign and pretty if you have the time and energy, but the Sedona overlook is the must-see of the two (and is about 0.5 miles from the sign).
