This is my 3rd time hiking on the Icehouse Canyon Trail. First time, I only hiked to the Cedar Glen campsite; second time, I hiked to the Icehouse Saddle.

This time my friend and I arrived the Icehouse Creek trail head parking lot at 7:00am, and we started to hike right there. It's a great day for hiking. There were a little bit windy which made you a bit chilly if stay still, once you started to move, the windy was appreciated. At the earlier morning there were no many hikers there, but later we got passed many. Our pace was slow, we intended to reserve energy for later.

It was a brutal climb after we took a break at the Icehouse Saddle. We moved slowly to catch breath. At 12:15pm we finally summited the Cucamonga peak……Yeah!

The view was a great reward. We also took the pictures on THE rock. It was fun!

The return trip took extra long time than we thought as we were all too tied and took so many small breaks. At about 5:00pm, we back to our parking lot. Exhausted but felt great!
